I'd say math is hard for me but yanno, so is surfing and I've not given either skill much attention in terms of learning them or in practice. Perhaps it's not so much that math is hard for me but more that math requires a certain level of attention and experience with to gain any level of proficiency using and I've just not cared enough to follow through with that process.
Yeah it's tedious. I like it up to a certain point, but then that interest completely drops off at higher forms. Geometry, balancing equations, and calculating loans are fun though, I mean as far as math goes anyway. Commoner's math. Not that higher forms aren't interesting, I'm just not that interested in doing them myself.
I know... I just wanted to read your reaction to that answer.
I really don't know the average time, as sometimes they're done quickly, while others can take up to 2-3 hours to do. For this one, I'd say maybe an hour of work. It's funny, I'd say my most successful pieces either took a lot of time (like 6-8 hours) or they took like 30 minutes... Go figure.
It seems to manifest some sort of malignant force here - constricting. But I suppose yr right - a lot of yr work has a great sense of pain in it - and more so than physical I mean, like the figures are visual representations of the hurting inside. Really became apparent when ya posted that journal about getting over that girl. I've felt like some of yr paintings before - like I just wanna burst myself; explode. How can I be so mundane ad bland with all this turmoil of rotten love inside me? Surely I should fall apart..
Again you painted in your special style with so much expression and energy. His trunk looks a bit like his head with the wide opened mouth. Much of your paintings are made with SAI. Is this your favourite painting software? Do you use other software as well?
You've been pretty inactive lately. As a direct result of not being able to write obscenities on your polls or whine about more blue in your images, I have written two lengthy journals in only a few days, along with a poem and story telling on art websites.
