I used to think life would be easier as a less intelligent individual. I have met a few people that have proven this theory to be incorrect. A lot of people with bipolar disorder have a higher than average intelligence. Due to a chemical imbalance they have less control over their emotions and are in a state of depression the majority of the time. I have also met people with a lower than average intelligence and they're miserable because they are negative all the time. They only react as opposed to being proactive. Not that the difference between reaction and proactivity IS happiness, just depends on how your mind manages information and how you manage your mind.
